Curriculum alignment is critical to achieving impressive college entrance exam scores.  Many young adults fail to understand the importance of aligning high school curriculum with college entrance exam prerequisites.  The college entrance exam prerequisites are aligned with university admission standards.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and college scholarships that originated in 1955 (National Merit Student Program Guide). High School students enter the program by taking the Preliminary SAT / National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT®/NMSQT). The PSAT ®/NMSQT is an initial screening exam in which 1.6 million students will complete in October each school year. These students will have to meet stringent requirements to matriculate into advanced competition rounds.  A student’s academic grade point average, academic courses, ACT®/SAT® confirming scores, and extracurricular activities are critical to keep advancing toward becoming a winner.

What We Do

We academically prepare students to sit for college and graduate school entrance exams (ACT® / SAT®, GRE®, MCAT®) while simultaneously coaching them through the psychological challenges that emerge as they are maturing into a self-reliant achiever!  Our coaching foundation is based on the Situational Leadership II ideology recognizing that as students academically develop our coaching methods must change in accord with their needs. We train individuals to develop and rely on academic analytical skills that: advance their abilities to edit written works, develop critical readers, transform one’s math abilities to analyze situations and conceptually apply math ideologies, and develop student’s analytical scientific skills to process experimental data. Preparation cannot be taken lightly; one must be dedicated to investing the time and effort necessary to improve scores because they are unlike typical course exams.

In response to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic we have chosen to assist our students strictly via web based platforms to protect the family’s we serve.

Knowledge Changes Lives!

Both the ACT® and SAT® are content driven exams. The exams help college admission committees predict how candidates will perform academically during their freshman year. It is vital to understand the academic content and testing methods that each exam uses to assess one’s knowledge before officially taking either exam.

Prospective graduate and business school applicants worldwide who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree – master’s, specialized master’s in business, MBA, J.D. degree, or doctoral degree – take the GRE® General Test. The GRE® General Test provides schools with a common measure for comparing candidates’ qualifications through analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning.

The Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®) is a standardized multiple-choice examination created to help medical school admissions offices assess applicants problem solving, critical thinking, and knowledge of natural, behavioral, and social science concepts and principles prerequisite to the study of medicine. The exam is developed and administered by the American Assoication of Medical Colleges (AAMC).

Academic Coaching & Teaching Experience is Vital

Test preparation is complex, and full of unexpected challenges requiring students and educators to be dedicated to fulfilling their respective roles. Educators should be academically fluent yet multi-functional being able to act as an academic coach and a content specialist! Below you will find two points to consider when searching for an academic coach / professional educator. Not everyone is capable!

An academic coach should be able to develop individualized strategic plans to: navigate the student through the exam format, develop a student’s psychology to remain confident, possess critical leadership and development skills to properly advise students as they transition through their academic development phases, and teach students how to identify their personal and academic deficiencies.

An academic coach should also be able to function as an experienced professional educator with the knowledge to: identify and correct academic deficiencies; create strategic individualized academic plans; teach students methods to analyze scientific data; teach students how to become strong critical readers; teach students how to edit and write effectively; and teach students how to leverage mathematics conceptually!
